Drying characteristics of ammonium polyvanadate under microwave heating based on a thin-layer drying kinetics fitting model

چکیده

The dried ammonium polyvanadate (APV) can be used to produce high-purity Vanadium pentoxide (V 2 O 5 ) by calcination. Therefore, drying is a necessary process. advantages of microwave are uniform heating, selective high heating efficiency and the operation process clean hygienic. This study uses dry APV discusses effect initial mass, power, moisture content on APV. results display that average rate positively correlated with output power. When mass 35 g, shown as 0.000263%/s. As power increases 25% 560W, 0.00036231%/s 0.003125%/s, respectively. At same time, through analysis kinetics fitting experimental data, it found precisely described Modified Page model. saves energy directly penetrates product, has certain in green metallurgy.
